Sara Vander Molen

Sara has been working in the design industry for several years. She started in the furniture industry working in a retail design setting first, and then transitioned to a work from home setting where she offered remote interior design services to clients all over the country. Sara joined KSI in July of 2021 and has proven to be a valuable asset to our team. 

Sara’s design philosophy is simple: She aims to help guide her clients through the design process and help them make the best decisions for their home and family. Her goal is to make the design process exciting and empowering for her clients rather than overwhelming, and does her best to remove stressors that come with big decision making!

As an active member of the NKBA West MI chapter and HBA of Greater Grand Rapids Professional Women in Building council, Sara is a true steward and student of interior design.

Outside of work, Sara spends a lot of time decorating and daydreaming plans for her home. She loves thrifting for unique pieces and tackling the occasional small DIY project. Otherwise, you can find her attending her sons soccer games or playing Uno and Minecraft together.
